BODEGAS RIOJANAS (RIOJA)

Bodegas Riojanas , S.A. , established in 1890 is located in the heart of the prestigious Rioja region in Spain . Combining its more than one hundred years of history with cutting-edge vinification technology, Bodegas Riojanas creates both classic wines and others which are much more avant-garde.

Medieval Blanco – Made from 100% Viura grapes, this is a clean crisp, young Rioja white wine.

Canchales Blanco- Made from 100% Viura grapes, this young white wine is clean and brilliant in color, and smooth and well-balanced in the mouth.

Puerta Vieja Blanco- Made from 100% Viura grapes. Intense, elegant wine with fresh, fruity notes. Light on the palate with well integrated acidity.

Monte Real Blanco - Made from 100% Viura grapes. Crisp, dry white wine with good structure and a long finish.

Vina Albina Semi-Sweet Blanco - Made from 90% Viura, 10% Malvasia grapes. A perfect balance between its natural sugar content and acidity, resulting in a sweetness with an unforgettable fragrance.

Canchales Rosado- Made from 60% Tempranillo, 40% Viura grapes. Clean and brilliant wine with pink to strawberry red color.

Medieval Tinto - Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes. Fresh, fruity wine, which is smooth and balanced in the mouth.

Canchales Tinto- Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes picked from Cenicero and Sonsierra vineyards. Fresh, young red wine with a bright cherry red color. Fragrant aromas. Gentle and balanced in the mouth.

Puerta Vieja Crianza - Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes. Aged for a minimum of 2 years. Deep dark cherry red color. Fruity aromas with hints of spice from the new oak aging. Robust in the mouth, pleasant tannins and a well-balanced finish.

Monte Real Crianza - Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, hand selected from old vines. Aged for 18 months in new American oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle before being released on the market. Intense color, full-bodied with silky tannins and a long finish.

Monte Real Reserva- Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes picked from the Cenicero and Sonsierra vineyards. Aged for a minimum of 3 years, both in oak casks and in the bottle before being released. A wine with that unmistakable personality from the Rioja. Deep cherry red color. Clean, powerful aromas to the nose with an excellent balance of wood. Full bodied in the mouth with soft, polished tannins and a long finish.

Vina Albina Reserva- Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes picked from the Cenicero and Villalba de Rioja vineyards. Aged for a minimum of 3 years in both oak casks and in the bottle before being released. Highly representative of classic Rioja Alta wines. Bright ruby red color. Elegant to the nose. Excellent structure and great finesse in the mouth with good acidity and polished tannins. Very well balanced with a complex finish. Continues to develop in the bottle.

Gran Albina Vendimia - Made from an equal proportion of Tempranillo, Mazuelo, and Graciano grapes which were hand selected. Aged in French oak for 20 months. A superior and very special wine in tune with today’s trends. Deep, dark, cherry red color. Full of aromas and fruitiness in the nose. Good, concentrated structure in the mouth. Well balanced and rounded with beautiful tannins. A delicious, long finish. A great wine with character and personality.

Monte Real Gran Reserva – Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes. Wine selected only from the best vintages. Same excellent characteristics of Monte Real Reserva aged for a minimum of 5 years in both oak casks and in the bottle.

Vina Albina Gran Reserva- Made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano grapes. Wine selected only from the best vintages. Same excellent characteristics as Vina Albina Reserva aged for a minimum of 5 years in both oak casks and the bottle.
